A United Arab Emirates (UAE)-based carrier has launched direct air links to the Congo-Kinshasa.
Flydubai flies to the Congolese capital, Kinshasa, with stop overs in Entebbe, Uganda.This brings to 13 the African destinations the Middle Eastern airline flies to across 10 countries.

Flydubai is the first national carrier for the UAE to create direct air links to Kinshasa.
Passengers from Kinshasa have access to more than 90 destinations on the flydubai network and through its codeshare partnership with Emirates, can connect conveniently to Emirates’ destinations spanning six continents in more than 80 countries, Flydubai says.
“As one of the largest and most populous cities in Africa, Kinshasa is a key hub for travel and trade,” said Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer of flydubai, upon the inaugural flight’s touch down in the central African country. “Africa is one of the UAE’s emerging trade partners and with the opening of this new route to one of the busiest airports there will be further opportunities to strengthen commercial ties across a neighbouring continent with vast natural resources.”

For bookings under the codeshare, Emirates passengers receive complimentary meals and the Emirates checked baggage allowance on flights operated by flydubai in Business and Economy classes.
Flydubai currently flies to Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Alexandria (Egypt), Asmara (Eritrea), Djibouti (Djibouti), Entebbe (Uganda), Hargeisa (Somalia), Juba (South Sudan), Khartoum and Port Sudan (Sudan) and Tanzania’s Dar es Salaam, Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar.
