Emerging and established African and international playwrights are expected to gather in Uganda for the 4th annual Kampala International Theatre Festival during the last week of November.
Scheduled for November 22-26, the event shall showcase live theatre performance at at The Square on Third Street, Industrial Area, Kampala.
Tickets, that shall be sold at the door, shall cost USh50000 (full-festival pass); USh20000 (day pass) and USh10000 (students).
Back in Nairobi, the annual fundraising art auction known as The Affordable Art Show shall be back at Nairobi National Museum’s Courtyard November 3-5.

Kenya Museum Society, the organisers of the event, say The Affordable Art Show shall kick off with an opening party in the evening of November 3 and everyone, including artists, shall pay a Sh500 entry fee to attend the event. However art lovers shall not pay any entry fee during the next two days that shall run 8:30 AM-4:30 PM.
Among the activities lined up to complement The Affordable Art Show, besides Viewing and buying of Art, are Art Appreciation talks, a guided Art tour and children’s activities.

Also running at Nairobi National Museum October 25-November 4 is the 8th annual Kenya Arts Diary and Exhibition.
Selected artwork, some of which is featured in the 2018 edition of the Kenya Arts Diary, is on exhibition for sale.
The exhibition ends on November 4 with the official Kenya Arts Diary launch. Entrance to the launch is free but by invitation.
