A short film festival that is set to celebrates its eighth edition with more than 300 films, 80 industry-led masterclasses, networking sessions and special events runs November 7 – 11, 2018.
Audiences in attendance during the 8th Aesthetica Short Film Festival (ASFF) across York City in England can discover captivating performances in Advertising, Animation, Artists’ Film, Comedy, Dance, Documentary, Drama, Experimental, Fashion, Music Video, Thriller and Virtual Reality (VR).
ASFF says it is for the first time planning to screen feature films from emerging filmmakers.

“In addition, there are also numerous masterclasses and networking sessions with organisations such as Aardman, Film4, Studiocanal, British Vogue and attendees will also have the chance to hear from BAFTA-winning Editor Mick Audsley (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Murder on the Orient Express) and writer, director and actor Alice Lowe (Hot Fuzz, Sightseers, Prevenge),” ASFF says in a statement sent out by its marketing coordinator, Hannah Skidmore.
ASFF is hosted by Aesthetica Magazine, said to be one the UK’s leading publications for art and culture.
