Lola Kenya Screen Brings My Professional Journalist’s Dream Nearer

By Irene Esonga, Kahawa Garrison Secondary School, Nairobi

Lola Kenya Screen Brings Irene Esonga's Professional Journalist’s Dream Nearer.Being one of the participants at the second and fourth annual Lola Kenya Screen festival for children and youth, I have been given an opportunity to nurture my creativity through my hard work and commitment in journalism; I feel my dream as a journalist is coming nearer.

Thanks to Lola Kenya Screen, I now know how to write articles, news, and reports using different backgrounds. I have surely learnt a lot from Lola Kenya Screen on what it takes to be the best possible professional journalist.

I thank Ogova Ondego, the director of Lola Kenya Screen, for organising such a festival that helps children and youth to discover and achieve their dreams and ambitions. May God bless him abundantly so that he can continue organising many more editions of Lola Kenya Screen.

The honours and rewards fall to those who show good qualities and I believe that Lola Kenya Screen festival has got the best qualities and deserves the best. Long live Lola Kenya Screen festival.
