Oman Airways is from March 27 commencing four flights-a-week into Nairobi as British Airways offers discounted fares on out-of-Nairobi to London, New York, Washington DC, Boston and Toronto flights till April 3, 2017.
On its part, Ethiopian Airline, the national carrier of Ethiopia, shall start flying out of its Addis Ababa hub to Chengdu in south-western China on May 22, 2017.

If you plan to travel to London, New York, Washington DC and Boston in May or June, you can book now to grab the US$777 fare to London or US$830 ticket to New York, Washington DC and Boston from US$830.
But if you want to travel in the Economy class immediately, the fare to London starts from US$1035 and that to Washington DC, New York, Boston or Toronto from US$1050. The World Traveller Plus ticket to London starts from US$1760 while Business class ticket to London starts from US$2535 and to Washington DC and New York from US$2875.
These tickets have to be purchased by April 3, 2017 for travel until
April 30, 2017 (Economy and World Traveller Plus) and May 31, 2017 (Business class).
Oman Air is offering 4-night/5-day flying package from Nairobi to Muscat in the Middle East Sultanate.

Ethiopian, Africa’s largest airline, shall operate a Boeing 787-8 three times a week from Addis Ababa to Chengdu.
